Sunday Thanks: Civil Rights
Today our priest reminded us of the importance of respect, equality and civil rights. I've been thinking about it all day, and I'm thankful today for all of the rights that we have. This being said, I think we still have a long way to go as a nation and a world, but I'm feeling thankful that we're not where we were 50 years ago and hopeful that my children will live in a time of equal rights and opportunities for all individuals.

I totally agree! I am thankful that we live in the time that we do.. but you're right we still have a way to go!
