Breaking the Ice

I feel like linking up with Jennifer today on her Breaking the Ice series. It's just some fun questions that bloggers answer to help people learn a little bit more about them. And since I have a few followers who don't know me personally, I thought it could be fun. Plus, I'm avoiding getting out of bed and actually doing something with my morning before going to work!

Here goes!

Perfectly imperfect Jenn

1) Tell one thing not many people know about you.
It's beginning to become more apparent, but I am definitely allergic to my cat. This makes me sad, but I love her and snuggle her anyway!

2) If you HAD to change your first name, what would you change it to?
I think I would probably just change it to my nickname, Benny, because I like it and I think it suits my quirky-ness.

3) What are your 3 favorite songs of the moment?
Lazy Song-Bruno Mars

4) List 3 goals on your life's to-do list:
Marry James
Travel lots and lots
Buy a cute old house we can fix up and live in forever

5) What is one of your favorite quotes?

Character is like a tree and reputation like its shadow. The shadow is what we think of it; the tree is the real thing. -Abraham Lincoln

 6) Fill in the blank:  If I had an extra 10 dollars to spend . . I would buy __________?
Something tasty at the outdoor farmers market on Saturday

7) What’s your birth date?
March 18th (which is also James' birthday!) Yup, we totally planned that.
8) Do you have a hidden talent and if so what is it?
I'm really good at picking things up with my feet...maybe that shouldn't be a hidden talent anymore!

9) What do you think of when you hear the word "blue"?
James--it's his favorite color.

10) Finish this thought:  I need . . .
to pay my bills and figure out my student loans...way to end this exercise with a bummer!

This was fun:) Check out Jenn's blog and link up!

Thanks so much for linking up girlie!
Happy Belated Birthday to you and James!!
I only recently found out that I'm allergic to cats after having them my whole life which makes me really sad. I love furbabies!

So sad to hear that you're allergic to your cat! I've started to develop allergies to dogs but I still make sure to love on my parents' pup after taking a Claretin.

Thanks for the comments ladies, and thanks for checking out my blog! I hope you'll consider becoming "followers" :) I'm beginning to think that everyone is a little bit allergic to their pets, but they are too lovable! I probably won't get another cat after Cuddles if my allergies continue to get worse, but I would never even think of giving her away--she is absolutely one of my best friends!

Your birthdays are the day before my boyfriends. He always jokes that he was supposed to be born two days earlier because he's Irish, but that's just his humor. Happy Thursday!
